Kaylan L Weese, MD, FAAD
Dr. Weese is a board certified dermatologist with comprehensive training in all aspects of dermatologic care. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Oklahoma. During that time, Dr. Weese received the prestigious honor of being named a Fleming Scholar at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, where she performed basic science research investigating the genetic and molecular aspects of autoimmune disorders such as lupus. She then earned her Medical Doctorate at the University of Oklahoma, where she graduated with honors as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. During that time, she was very active in campus leadership, serving her
last 2 years on the executive council of the medical school. Dr. Weese came to Oregon by way of her residency training at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon. During her residency, she served in the national organization governing Dermatology, the American Academy of Dermatology, and she performed medical research in atopic dermatitis, the results of which were presented at multiple national conferences. In her final year at OHSU she served as Chief Resident. She remains in close contact with OHSU and enjoys teaching residents. She also continues to serve in leadership within the American Academy of Dermatology.
Dr. Weese provides a full range of dermatologic care for adults and children, including medical and surgical services. She also offers minimally invasive cosmetic procedures to reduce the signs of aging. Dr. Weese is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Society for Pediatric Dermatology and Oregon Dermatology Society. Her interests outside of dermatology include cooking, gardening, and exploring Oregon with her friends and family.
